The ESGE-YEP Exchange Programme is an exclusive international initiative designed for young gynaecological endoscopists seeking hands-on clinical experience and global collaboration. Organised by ESGE, the programme offers rising talents the chance to learn directly from world-class experts, sharpen surgical skills, and build an international professional network.
Hosted annually in the ESGE Congress host country, participants gain immersive access to top medical institutions while exploring new healthcare systems and cultures. This one-of-a-kind programme fuels innovation, fosters cross-border knowledge exchange, and prepares the next generation to lead in gynaecological endoscopy.
NEW: Exclusive Hands-On MIGS Course in Istanbul for YEP Participants
In addition, all YEP participants will now have the opportunity to join an exclusive hands-on MIGS course in Istanbul, taking place on Saturday, 18 October 2025, just before the ESGE Congress. This full-day course includes expert-led lectures and small-group wet-lab training at the Istanbul Innovation Centre.

ESGE-YEP Exchange Programme 2025 | Istanbul, Türkiye | Application NOW OPEN
Dear friends and colleagues,
We are delighted to announce and welcome you to the ESGE-YEP Exchange Programme in Istanbul, Türkiye, taking place from 15th to 17th October 2025. This year, the selected participants will have the opportunity to experience the Exchange in various Turkish cities, immersing themselves in the medical expertise that Türkiye has to offer, while also taking the opportunity to take in the rich culture and history.
This exchange will serve as a valuable prelude to the upcoming ESGE 34th Annual Congress (attendance at the ESGE Congress is mandatory for those selected for the YEP-Exchange) The ESGE-YEP Exchange brings together trainees from around the world to improve standards, encourage research and promote training and exchange of information in gynaecological endoscopy.

Application for the YEP Exchange is NOW OPEN.
We can host one trainee from each YEP member country during the ESGE-YEP Exchange from 15th to 17th October 2025.

The registration fee for the selected Exchangees is €150 per person* (to be paid via bank transfer upon selection). Please note that flights, accommodation, visa (if applicable), food, and beverage expenses will be borne by the Exchangee. Please see how to avail of a flight discount under the Travel* section.
Host Country
Türkiye has been selected to host the prestigious ESGE-YEP Exchange Programme in 2025, a vital initiative dedicated to advancing knowledge and expertise in gynaecological endoscopy. Known for its rich history in medical innovation. This year, the programme will take place from 15th to 17th October, offering a unique opportunity for professionals and scientists to engage with experts and deepen their understanding of gynaecological endoscopy.
The country’s strong presence in medical science is rooted in its modern healthcare infrastructure, world-class universities, and research institutions.
Throughout your time in Türkiye, you will have the opportunity to engage with esteemed experts, participate in high-level discussions, and expand your professional network. Major cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Antalya, Adana, Bursa, Konya, and Mersin will serve as the programme’s host locations, each offering a unique combination of academic excellence and medical innovation. These cities, known for their vibrant culture, advanced medical facilities, and leading universities, create an ideal environment for knowledge exchange and professional growth.
Beyond the academic and professional experience, Türkiye offers a rich cultural heritage for all participants to explore. ESGE-YEP Exchange Programme
The ‘Exchangees’ are encouraged to arrive on Tuesday evening (14th October) and stay until Friday, 17th October in their host hospitals. During working hours, ‘Exchangees’ will spend their time in the hospitals, working closely with their contact person. After hours, the social programme will offer a rich experience of sightseeing tours, cultural integration, and immersion in the city’s lifestyle. The specific social programme may vary by location, but each city promises an unforgettable experience that combines professional development with the unique charm of Türkiye.

ESGE 34th Annual Congress 2025
All the Exchangees are welcome to join the Sessions designed for young doctors on Sunday the 19th of October during the ESGE 34th Annual Congress.
Participation in the exchange programme is exclusively reserved for registered congress participants.
Fees
The registration price for the selected ESGE-YEP Exchangee is €150 per Exchangee* *Flights, Accommodation, Visa (if applicable), food and beverage – at cost of the Exchangee.
