Nordic Pharma, in partnership with the ESGE, has renewed its Call for Projects operation in “Adhesion prevention in women undergoing gynaecological surgery”. Nordic Pharma is offering a €10,000  grant to support clinical research in adhesion prevention. This grant is open to any European Healthcare Professional involved in gynaecological surgery.

Last years first edition of the Nordic-ESGE Grant has been successful and proved to be a great opportunity for Nordic not only to confirm its commitment in helping HCP, but also to raise awareness on adhesion prevention during the 2019 ESGE congress.

Applications will have to be sent to centraloffice@esge.org by the deadline June 30th 2021.

Subsequently, selection of the winning project will be made by the NP/ESGE Committee for an awarding at the ESGE 30th Annual Congress.

ESGE 30th Annual Congress Call For Abstracts

Abstract Submission opens 25th February!

On Thursday 25th February 2021 our official abstract submission opens. You can then submit your clinical and scientific work for the ESGE 30th Annual Congress to be held in Rome, Italy on 3rd – 5th October 2021.

The ESGE Annual Congress is now one of the most important congresses in the field of gynaecological endoscopy and is attended by an ever growing number of healthcare professionals as well as the industry.

Hybrid Congress: Onsite + virtual presentations

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are designing the Congress with the aim to reach all participants, by hosting a hybrid event (onsite and virtual) over three days; Sunday 3rd to Tuesday 5th October 2021. If your abstract is selected for inclusion in the programme as oral presentation, you will be required to provide a pre-recorded presentation for inclusion in the virtual part of hybrid congress this year.

If the COVID-19 situation improves to allow onsite presentation, the Best Selected Oral and Best Selected Video presenters will be invited to present onsite. All posters, videos and free communications will be presented virtually on the congress platform.

Be aware that we will have two portals to submit an abstract:

1. Regular Abstract Submission (oral, video and poster)

2. PhD Thesis Abstracts

Deadline

The deadline for abstract submission is 17th May 2021 midnight CET and registration deadline to Congress for abstract submitters is 7th July 2021.

The ESGE, in collaboration with Facts, Views and Vision in ObGyn, organises a webinar on Septum Incision on Saturday 11th July, 2020 from 12:45 – 14:45 hrs CET.

It is generally accepted that septate uterus is related to impaired reproductive outcome. Although septum incision could be applied as a safe and successful treatment option for at least the symptomatic patients (recurrent pregnancy loss, infertility), there is a continuous debate if there is a real indication for treating patients with septate uterus. A recent publication in Human Reproduction opened again the discussion.

ESGE is organising a high-level webinar on this hot issue: internationally recognized experts representing different scientific approaches in the field will debate in front of the audience reviewing the available data.

The participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance and they will be included exclusively in an ESGE List of Specialists interested in Female Genital Anomalies, who will be used by priority in ESGE research on that issue (Delphi procedures, surveys, etc.).

Join us for this topical webinar and be included in the ESGE List of Specialists.
